Chosen, not chased

We don't build a collection around what a season demands. We look for pieces that will still make sense in three years: a coat that works over a suit and over a jumper, a shirt that keeps its shape past the twentieth wash, trousers you reach for without thinking about it.

Every piece has to earn its place. If it only works once, for one occasion, in one particular light, it doesn't make it in. That leaves us with a smaller collection than most — which is rather the point. A wardrobe you can get dressed from in the dark is worth more than one you have to think your way through every morning.

For women and for men

We began on the women's side and grew into menswear, because the same idea holds for both: fewer pieces, better chosen, easy to combine. Dresses, knitwear and outerwear sit alongside shirts, jackets and shoes, cut and finished to the same standard and priced the same way. Nothing is an afterthought because it's in the other half of the collection.

Comfort is not a detail

How a garment feels decides whether you actually wear it. So we start there: fabrics with weight and drape, seams that sit where they should, finishes that survive a washing machine rather than a photograph. Refinement that costs you comfort isn't refinement — it's a garment you'll leave on the hanger.

What you can expect from us

Delivery is on us. Shipping is free to every country we sell to, with a local carrier handling the last part of the journey.

Room to change your mind. If something isn't right, you can return it — our returns policy sets out exactly how, and by when.

Help before you order. Sizing is where most online clothing goes wrong, so every product carries a size guide, and our fit finder will point you to the right size from measurements you already know.
